Royal Brisbane & Women's Mental Health team have developed an innovative Consultant Dashboard that is changing consultant behaviour.  Key performance indicators are displayed on the dashboard and staff are able to drill down to view their own results and compare their performance to their colleagues.  It's early days but reports are very positive.  To see presentation, click here...

Reducing Variation to Improve LOS for Eating Disorders

Mater Health Services used Health Roundtable reports to identify that they had a problem with the treatment of Eating Disorders.  Treatment varied widely and the use of nasogastric feeding was high.  The team developed some clear protocols supported by staff training and standardised meal plans and the results show up in the data with improved lengths of stay and positive feedback from clinicians.To see presentation, click here...
 
Workload Equity: 
Armadale Health Services responded to issues with workload management in community teams by developing a consistent measure for caseload management.  They reviewed all their cases and applied the measure in order to "level out" workload. To see presenation, click here...
